food-ingredients labels

With innumerable labels out present and so much perplexity with what is classed as a natural food, a healthy food and an organic food. A walk into any supermarket and the shelves are emission with labels about; ‘fresh foods, supplemented food, organic this, extra that, 99% free of….’and natural being one of them.

It’s an easy mistake to confuse the conditions that natural generation organic, healthy and low in fat but it could not be additional from the truth. The term ‘natural’ means a manufactured goods does not contain artificial ingredients.

Organic certification indicate the product has been formed with no chemicals involved such as fertilisers but the food can still hold the likes of natural sugars.

When it comes to animal protein and poultry the label natural means the meat product has been simply processed and has no added preservatives, flavouring, colours or other artificial ingredients.
